Here's the deal with this.
1. Stay away from bad sites. Be safe or be sorry and be smart for pete's sake.
2. Use a safe browser, google chrome is great. Really really good.
3. Use Google plus, they have a thing to make sure your info doesnt spill out. Swag.
4. Don't be a dingus, make sure you're using appropriate sites.

phishing for complements.
Here's the truth, there are a lot of crappy people that want your personal information. They use two ways for this. Phishing and Malware. Phishing is when they make fake sites to lure you into putting in your information. They say "heyo, Ima your banka, puta your info-a in!" and yes, they have fake Italian accents. Malware are viruses that come in and eat your information and bring it back to the people that made the virus.

Ive got a feeling somebody's watching me
So, you don't want everyone in the world to know all of your information. Understandable and completely acceptable. There's something you can do about it! (hooray!) It's called security settings. Remember the nifty and tasty cookies in the last blog post, well they can steal all of your valuable information.
security programs and the incognito mode on google chrome will delete all cookies and history, in case you dont want people to see what you've been looking at! Be good kids!

C is for Cookie, thats good enough for me
Cookies track where you go on the website and track what6 you like and what you dont and what you tend to steer to. It also makes the shopping cart work. But what is a cookie well, a cookie is a small piece of text sent to your browser by a website you visit.
It contains information about your visit that you may want the site to remember,
like your preferred language and other settings. The browser stores this data and
pulls it out the next time you visit the site to make the next trip easier and more
personalized. If you visit
a movie website and indicate that you’re most interested in
comedies, for instance, the cookies sent by the website can remember this so you may
see comedies displayed at the start of your next visit. Neato.
