Thing 7
Thing seven talks about web browsers. You need to update all the time! Old web browsers suck and they can't hold new web apps and they can leak your information. That would be the worst. Do you want to use google maps but dont have the CSS to run it? Sucks, looks like you have to use Map quest (yuck.) So this is very important. if you dont upgrade you're holding everyone else back.

Thing 6 in the THE THIRD DIMENTION!!!
No more of this 2D nonsense, now because of faster broadband internet speed, we can see things in the internet in three glorious dimensions. Shading so real you could reach out and grab it. Why this was so unattainable before is because the amout of data needed was INSANE! The networks couldn't handle it. But now, we have faster bigger information freeways and the days of bad graphics and not realistic shading are over. The internet has won again.

th-tml 5
Holy Nyan Cat Batman! No video? Well before HTML 5 you had to add video plug ins and it was super duper hard to watch anything! But we want it and we want it right now; so the <video> tag was invented. Now with <video>, we can watch videos of Jonas laughing or a dog on a skateboard or Bill Nye fight a hologram of Carl Sagan. It's the best thing that's happened to the internet since Dr. Who gifs.

OMG CSS HTML LOL: THING 4
The stuff that makes this all work is the PROGRAMMING. The code used to do this is called HTML, hyper text markup language, this makes you see what I see when we get on. Neato stuff like Java script makes the whole thing run faster and more smoothly as we go through pages. It makes it so we can run multiple things at the same time with out reloading the page. So much easier. CSS makes the whole thing look pretty, smoother, better transitions and so on. We are all glad that these things have come to pass and we're not stuck with the internet of the 90's. Amen.

THING 2
Ok, thing two. Dos, deux, II, however you want to say it, it's a little thing called Cloud computing, thats where all your stuff is saved, not in a cloud, but on an external giant server somewhere across the internet ocean. This makes it so you can access all your files from any computer that connects to the cloud. NEAT! You can shoot a few rounds into your computer and run over it with a steam roller, pick up your friends computer, log into the cloud and then pick up where you left off on your English paper.
