Thing One
This, yonder first post, is about the first chapter of a small book produced by Google. It says, the internet is not just a magical force that runs on pixie dust, but instead is made up of cables that run under towns and through houses and into our computers! Info is sent in chunks called packets like water or sewage through a pipe. The packets are sent through until they plop onto your screen. Now lets talk about bandwidth, remember the pipe? If there is too much stuff in the pipe, it slows down, its like a crowded hall. If there are a lot of people, you can't go anywhere fast, but if the halls are empty, you can run. So behold, the internet.
